Youngtrader's Commodity Journal

Aussie declined about .0047 today. Whenever they take it up to around 9435 or so they just can't hold it and we start to sell off from there. This market feels extremely weak and I expect it to selloff rather nicely over the next few weeks.

I want to sell some vol in the sugar market possibly by buying a 13.50/12.50/11.50 july or august butterfly. Im going to have to ask some people about that first though.

Going to do some research tonight and just take some time to look over all the markets and look for opportunities in them.

Sold another 2 aussie at 93.14 average is now 4 short at 93.60

Im out of my hog spreads at -1.75 for a $200 loss there. They just weren't doing anything.

Looking to get long the british pound today......don't have an exact number but as always I want to get it bought as cheap as possible. Just have to see.

Where is your stop on this aussie trade. BTW, I agree with you. My signals are screaming sell on the Aussie. I think I will add more tonight. We might have to weather some worsening Data before we see a nice profit on that trade though.

Actually just got out of my aussies at 94.36 for a $3,040 loss (don't have stops just mental areas that I look at). Again I thank god I wake up so early to trade because I would of been sitting on a decent sized loss this morning.......actually this is a decent size loss. I can't believe it popped so much. Probably try to reshort it somewhere around 95 if thats possible.

Missed the pound yesterday by 9 ticks! I had orders in to buy it at 193.50 but no luck. I want to be long that thing but am not quite sure at what level yet.

im glad i covered aussie, i missedout on a pretty big down move bt oh well fuck it. i still managed a good week 4 k or so. feels good to be making money again!

Thanks for the compliments. However there are many other journals that beat mine hands down. Take the ES Journal for instance. Some of those guys have forgot more about trading than I will ever learn.

Well Friday wasn't too good of a day with aussie. Like I said I managed to still short 1 at 94.90 however it does need to start hitting some major selling pressure up here in order for me to feel good about the trade. Another day up and I am out of the aussie trade for good.

I did buy 1 british pound at 1.947 This is going to be a very good trade. We have hit that support level around 193 for the 4th time and we popped off of it yet again on high volume.

See what tomorrow brings
