Burtakus, thanks for that retard remark - you're quite the entertainer. I'll give you a pass soince you don't live over here. Just me showing some frustration from people like Z's who don't really understand what it is they are talking about.
It's great to hear you admit that the girl's message is racist, so we're on the same page there. I am however at a loss as to why I am a retard for "not acknowledging blah blah blah". You know, I didn't think that was the point of this thread, and it's surprising how hard it is to get so many others on this thread to admit what you so readily admitted.
Racism is Racism is Racism. IT does not matter who is promoting or exercising it. I think that many in the US do not understand this. Another thing is that the race card has been played so many times that practically anything contianing the word black constitutes racism.
I'm curious as to how you can measure how much some people are racists. First of all, the USA is a genuine fruit salad when it comes to race and colour of people's skin: If someone who's 1/4 white and 3/4 black is a racist, how does he count? Or is it against whom his racism is directed which is counted? I don't know, but that sounds complicated to me.
And what's this thing with a free pass? Who's dealing them out? What exactly is it? Is it plastic or paper? Is it for rap concerts?
It not so much rap concerts or rap artists, they are musicians and thats it. Unfortunately youg kids listen to what the lyrics say without having any real perspective on the world to put it in perspective. The biggest free pass is granted to the so called black leaders aka Jesse Jackson, Farrakahn adn such. The stuff they say does nothign but promote more racism. The sad thing is that many uneducated and uninformed blaks follow what these people say blindly without a thought. The characters put the ills of the blakc person squarely on the shoulders of white people. The promote an attitiude of. the white person owes you and they are against the black person rising up. When in reality if they would teach about taking responsibility for yourself adn stop blaming the white person the victim mentality woudl lesson and allow blacks to actually rise up. The medis in the US gives a great deal of leeway to blacks. Take for example the many "Black organization" There are no "White organizations" for the simple fact they woudl be driven underground by the media onslaught crying racism in forte.
Listen, since I don't live in the US I only know what I've seen from business trips - and that is of course very different from living the dream (trying to score points here). The US of A is a big country, and as such it has its extremes. Along with things like the klan it also has african-american organisations crying "racism!" in cases where it's obvious it isn't. Louisiana in the news lately has had a few examples of both: With obvious racism by police officers attacking that defensless man (I know he came out later claiming he himself didn't feel he was a victim of racism), but on the other hand organisations claiming it was racism that the hurricane hit that particular beach. So, I totally agree with your statement that this has to go both ways. it has to but doesn't. Very unfortunate.
But, what was that whole "stop castigating white people" remark? Honestly, I can't get that. Perhaps you can enlighten me. The "Black leaders" preach to the black community that whites are to blame for their ills. The meia is all tohappy to support this position. Consequently the level of anuimosity form blacks toward whites is much more than whites toward blacks.
