The isn't really any fundamental value to it beside Central Banks buying them. Also, there isn't really any urgency for the Central Banks to buy them anyway.

Also who wear gold jewelry nowadays beside the rappers wearing them as necklace and teeth grill?

Gold just looks really ghetto in today's time.
