you think palin was the worst republicans had to offer. think again.

Quote from RCG Trader:

I would do what many Jews did, saw the writing on the wall and left.

And go where? This ought to be good. LOL. Rockford, IL?

And for the record, very few Jews left...

Very few Jews are individuals, and some of the wealthy ones did come to the United States.

No. Where would YOU go if you left the US? You are implying that libertarians should just leave right? And go where?

The United States is the most libertarian nation on the planet, and will remain so, if that ever changes thru some incredible black swan, then I would consider my options for sure.

I understand the mentality of "it could happen here", except that it can't happen here. Our system of government ensures it, unless state powers become completely federalized which will not happen without civil war, if I get sick of Illinois, I do have the option of moving to Alaska.

I think we are getting off track here. LOL. I thought you were asking why don't those of us who are "whining", just leave.

... Now if conservatives are the silent majority, how did they let libs come to control every major factor of their lives?
Because sadly they didn't have the collective spine to shoot the mofo's on sight.

The title of this thread, in combination with the identity of the OP, leads me to believe that every major legitimate poll, along with every major economic data release, is not looking good for President Obama's re-election prospects. Every legit poll, every economic metric, multiple sources public and private, trending oh-not-so-well. How to address this bitter pill ? Talk about the opposition. No serious Republican gives either Palin nor Bachmann any chance.

Obama is cooked in Ohio, and Obama is cooked in Florida. Game over.

Transparent sign of desperation - release the Strategic Oil Reserve. Bring some troops home.

It is the economy, stupid. And raising taxes or spending another Trillion on roads and bridges will not turn that around in sixteen months. Game over and you know it. Is that all you can manage ? Pretty weak.

It is an option. You are a professional trader that lives in Chicago. If you do not like Chicago, move. I hear Wisconsin is nice. My point is why would you, or anyone else whine about something you have no possibility of changing?

Central Illinois is nice too.

Still my idea for fixing this is still the best. Let the ones who are smarter, republicans, better economic brains, republicans, better business men, republicans, better ideas, republicans, better with budgets, republicans, better employers, republicans and better employees, again republicans just get off their butts and start some more business's. And the problem is solved. Transfer all the time and energy put in bitching into producing.

Whoa there, Big. You have heard of a fella named Little George W. Bush, right?
