Hi there, I take a lot into account, as a good trader should: Macro view, fundamentals, expiry coordination, cyclical/defensive nature, characteristic and history of stock, statistics on stock {short interest, etc.}, catalysts and news articles and sentiment, options optimization {IV, strike selection, math on payouts and cost, etc.} and more {a little bit of technicals to time entry and hold levels}. I hold for usually one to two weeks, I also plan on some long term positions with LEAPS, I'm definitely going long term on LEAPS with Gold, but I usually trade equity options, right now I'm long TDOC, short BA, long YETI, among others. Join up let's share ideas!! :) :)
