you just knew this was coming. palin working for fox news.

Whatever, people in this country are sick and tired of both parties. She sounds and acts like an outsider.

That is precious in this environment. Just like Obama, she could get lucky....

And yet she hasn't been asked to provide each skeptic with an authenticated copy of her birth certificate...

True. Aside from some of his outlandish and quirky views, he is actually quite intelligent and very well-spoken. It's just unfortunate that he was bitten by dogma. Palin, on the other hand, has no redeeming qualities that I have been able to identify.

And being the geniuses that they are, the liberal media decides to focus all their attention on someone with no redeeming qualities while ignoring the well spoken and intelligent propects?

Deep sigh...

What would be the point of disparaging a basically decent, if fairly misguided, person whose political profile is presently in retreat for all intents and purposes? It's far more entertaining to point at people with an exaggerated perception of themselves who regularly slip in their own bullshit. As for your "liberal media" comment, I gather that refers to anyone who doesn't toe the Far Right party line and lip-synch whatever comes out of the GOP's lederhosen?

Deeper sigh...

Wow...for entertainment. Too bad no one is paying attention other than pissed off liberals. Hopefully, they'll get the message.

As far as the liberal media, is Lincoln one of your favorite founding fathers too?

Speaking of people with exaggerated perceptions of themselves who regularly slip in their own bullshit, which one of the 57 states have you not been to? If you could, please answer in Austrian for us and televise your response on C-SPAN.

Bugs,

You do of course realize that this demographic that you brag about are all AARP members who are wearing Depends and taking Geritol and heart medicine three time per day. Right? Do yourself a favor and look up "price per spot." You might find that enlightening.

Sarah Palin Draws Huge Audiences As Fox Contributor
By Noel Sheppard
January 15, 2010 - 00:29 ET

While mainstream media members continue to belittle her at every opportunity, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin attracted huge audiences in her first two official appearances as a Fox News Channel contributor.

Debuting on Tuesday's "O'Reilly Factor," the former vice presidential candidate drew almost 4 million viewers more than doubling the combined total of MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and CNN's Campbell Brown.

The following evening on "Glenn Beck," Palin attracted over 3 million -- at 5PM!

Regardless of what her detractors say, Palin was a smash hit (complete numbers below the fold courtesy TVBytheNumbers.com, Tuesday first):

  • 8PM – P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
    The O’Reilly Factor – 3,954,000 viewers (993,000) (1,786,000)
    Campbell Brown – 999,000 viewers (284,000) (363,000)
    Countdown w/ K. Olbermann – 906,000 viewers (271,000) (510,000)
    Coca-Cola: The Real Story – 179,000 viewers (116,000) (91,000)
    Nancy Grace – 704,000 viewers (271,000) (351,000)

    5PM – P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
    Glenn Beck – 3,175,000 viewers (852,000) (1,413,000)
    Situation Room—1,310,000 viewers (424,000) (610,000)
    Hardball w/ C. Matthews —524,000 viewers (101,000) (249,000)
    Fast Money —257,000 viewers (a scratch w/37,000) (100,000)
    Prime News —288,000 viewers (126,000) (156,000)
Eat your hearts out liberal media!

Nice try. OReilly in the 25-54 demographic had 993,000. Olbermann had 271,000 in the same demographic.

Dear god, I weep for America if you are any indication.

"Price per spot." Then run that ratio relative to the raw numbers. Any Palin supporters in this thread able to see past the end of their nose?
