"I know trading and the markets extraordinarily well for my age (22)-I'm not stupid, I just didn't want to go to college anymore"
Employers dont care about whether your stupid or not. What they want to know is if you have the stamina/work ethic to tough out 3 or 4 yrs and complete a college to degree from start to finish.
A college degree doesnt just say how smart you are but that you can handle work.Degrees help employers seperate the knuckleheads from the talent pool. And there are a lot of uneducated knuckleheads that think they are golden.
Thats why college degrees command respect and the one thing that is never emphasized enough if at all.It certainly wasnt when i was at your age.I figured i had it with school i dont want to be a psychologist or english teacher so why go to school for it?
If there is nothing that interests you, fine. But just take the easiest courses to get a basic degree so you can show your passport!!!
A college degree is your PASSPORT to the future.Get your degree in anything and you are set.You can travel around the world then, get drunk, party for a few years. You can even trade stocks and if you get killed in the markets and they take away all your capital you can relax knowing that your passport/college degree will get you a decent job somewhere and anywhere on this planet....You canget a teaching job or a job in a museum or on wall st.,but you wont be flippin burgers for 5$ an hour.
Please,it sounds like you are so close to getting your degree-just go complete it.Its crazy not to.When i was your age 20 yrs ago i dropped out after 2 weeks but i didnt understand that it wasnt aboiut getting a specific degree but a PASSPORT to better opportunities in my future...I wish i had been able to see the light then but i didnt have very good guidance.I also got sidetracked by trading and did very well and changed my life in ways that may not have happened had i stayed at college but i wished i had stayed just for the security and respect of a degree.
