I am not knocking college per se, it's a way to have some excellent experiences, etc....
See, my problem lies with those that fool themselves into thinking that college is the only way to go, or else you're a loser or a failure.
They spent 4+ years at school and paid a lot of money (or their mommy and daddy did) and it hurts their feelings to face the reality that there are people out there who didn't do that, and yet can still be more successful than them.
I'll let you in on a secret- about the time that first bullet whizzes past your head.....you learn more about yourself than any ANY fucking university could ever teach you. Sorry, but you just cannot appreciate that until it happens. You can fool yourself and think that one night you drank 28 beers and took a xanax and had to go the emergency room, and had to call the ambulance yourself because your bros wouldn't take you cause they were on a panty raid taught you something about yourself...
If you think along those lines, college boys who think they are better than non-students, my advice to you, is that you should stick to bragging about things you are allowed to brag about, and stop bragging about things you didn't earn the right to brag about....you can talk shit and wave your piece of paper around and go to your class reuinions and remember times you got shitfaced and climbed the flagpole or whatever....but you'll never be able to reflect on the shit some of us vets can, and you'll never know how much of an advantage it is in your life and thinking if you can survive it.
I am a mortgage loan officer, not involved with subprime, etc....there are folks with college degrees who work in the same job as me...I make pretty good money for a 26 year old, especially when you factor in my trading, which is beginning to eclipse my salary. (I started out from zero and saved up for my account, no help from mommy and daddy there).
The 70/20/10 goes for all classes, all races, every human will find a spot in that breakdown somewhere.
