You are more likely to become a top Hollywood actor or popstar than profitable trader

How can anyone "bail out" when terms have not been agreed? If you won't accept 3rd party verification from filed financial accounts, tax returns, established accounting firms etc, that's your problem. All it proves is that I didn't have audited separate accounts purely for daytrades. And if you are so concerned that a regulated, professional accounting firm in a major international financial center is going to lie about results, why are you willing to accept statements in electronic form - don't you think if I wanted to cheat you, I could have fake statements made up for considerably less than $75k? You are *more* likely to be ripped off by one guy sending you emailed statements, than you are by a regulated institution which has a lot more than $75k to lose if it gets caught committing fraud.

As for your promises of privacy - you publicly posted the first private message I sent you, despite me reminding you it was private, remember? You didn't even have the courtesy to PM me back. Why would I trust your word after that? Your actions demonstrated that you are an untrustworthy, dishonourable person - I guess that should come as no surprise, if your claims to be working on an investment bank trading desk are true. After the revelations of the last couple of years, we all know what kind of shenanigans go on in places like that, and the type of ethics that their employees subscribe to. Keep on doing "God's Work".

I feel that I've offered reasonable terms, given my concerns about privacy - concerns which you have amply justified by violating privacy and good faith at the first hurdle. So, if you want to go on huffing and puffing, be my guest. I actually find it quite amusing how hot under the collar you are getting about all this, and as we can see from the posts, several other ET posters find it entertaining too.

Oh and one last thing...if you are in Asia, may I hazard a guess that you are FILTHY? Failed In London, Tried Hong Kong. Now, do run along - don't you have to be at your cubicle in a few hours? :D

I never mentioned that an oral agreement will be sufficient. I just wonder that you have no issue to give me your full name and full address and when I ask for the phone number in order to contact you , you suddenly start to panic and come up with all sorts of excuses. I need the full contact details in order to proceed, very simple. We also do not need any outside lawyers as I have no interest to having to fly to your jurisdiction just because your lawyer comes up with funny ideas why you deserve the payout even you may not qualify. I offered to do everything through an escrow company, they have lawyers and upon drafting up the detailed contracts with them it will be very straight forward for them to verify your records. You can even pick the escrow company given it is an established and recognized name. But what I need is a contact phone number to recognize your name and address is correct. Very simple. This is as professional as it gets. I have zero interest to fight around with 3rd party lawyers and such. I keep the personal information you supplied me with so far confidential you will never ever find me posting it here or anyplace else on the net. I guess to move forward you also need to take, what you consider risk, into account. I think its more than fair of me to ask for that.

I have just PM'd you the phone number for my lawyer. You can contact him directly come Monday. He will act as my intermediary and everything will be done through him. This is about as professional you can get in the U.S.A.

By the way, you need only look over the contract carefully and sign it for the deal to become binding. It couldn't be any more simple. From there on, both you and I are legally held responsible to the terms of the agreement.

The only thing you have done was making yourself look like an idiot who now bails out. Nothing more.

I never posted any private information of yours, schizo sent me his name and address (he can confirm that, at least I take his word for it, though who knows its his true id).
For the record, asiaprop has so far resisted from divulging his own identity even though I was upfront with him. If he can't reciprocate on the same ground, how can I trust that he will ultimately meet his obligation?

Good luck getting your $75000 and your first class ticket schizo. :)

And now 20+...and this is why the Administrator has little credibility..genuine ,truthful threads get deleted or blocked...and this tripe is allowed to continue...

Go figure...

Schizo, thats why we use an escrow service, so that you dont need to trust me. But I dont pay money for an escrow service and set things up to find out you disappeared into the anonymous realms of internet. If you want to make this bet happen then I need your full contact information. Are you surprised I asked for this? It should not come as a surprise at all.

I have zero interest to deal with your lawyers, as multiple times pointed out any escrow service employs lawyers and I simply call you up to verify that the person behind the number matches with you here on ET. Simple as that. I still think I dont ask for anything unreasonable.

Obviously, this ain't going anywhere.

Alright, I'll tell you what. You choose any escrow service you prefer and relay that information (with your identity, of course) to me. I will then forward that to my lawyer, who in turn will contact the folks at the escrow service. Deal?

You are dealing with the same mentality that allows total piracy of intellectual property in the whole of all the Southeast Asian Nations. Honor is something only the old generations hold near and dear. The young could care less.

dude if it isn't clear enough to you by now. This joker is jut yanking yer vhsin and likely doesn't have 75 cents let alone 75k.

Ridiculous the way he keeps adding criteria. Sure sign of a faker

At this point, I don't even care about the money. Frankly, I made more than that last week. What I want is to track him down and see what kind of character this dude is made of. He obviuosly can't live up to his own bold claim that daytraders can't make money, let alone succeed.

Moreover, if he truly works at a hedge fund, he should know that the first thing you're taught in MBA is the importance of the contractual law. Surely, he doesn't expect me to be so ignorant to make a deal without a signed document. I'm beginning to think his claim that he works in the corporate world is just another outright lie.
