Yo Nitro

I have to say that, even though I did not agree with many of Good1's opinions, it was very instructive to read and discuss his point of views. I did learn a lot, as more often than not Good1's posts got me to think and reflect.

about the time Nitro realized that Bernie got cheated by the democrat establishment - he started to become a bit unhinged. His lefty colored worldview was shaken. Which would not be a good thing while trading - for most people.

I wonder if he overrode his systems and made big anti trump bet.. then didn't take his losses and got wiped out by thanksgiving.

Back when I was full time trader I saw quite a few end of the year wipeouts. People reason they made no money or lost money for the year and figure they make it all back quickly or have to get a job... so mentally they abandon discipline and go big or go home.

a variation of the the airport trade.

That is the beauty of trading: putting one's money where one mouth is.
One can not trade just an opinion and have no insurance if the opinion is wrong.

I suppose Nitro got to find out about corruption: the left is more easily taken on a ride when wolfs enter the den. I have come to believe that left leaning people, are usually good hearted people who have no idea of what "crimes" people - left unchecked - are capable of . I have now been immunised, since checking with real catholics, and "facilitating confessions" ( this without any manipulation or hiding). Just to have people realize by themselves the horrors they have been capable of doing or allowing, was an eye opener. And then their realization that compared to the real God ( God of Truth and Purity), they are no match during confession to a priest who is well trained, is what sealed the deal for me as far as understanding how important the Christ human life form means.

Trading, at least after one has put in the time to learn some 'mechanics', is really a psychology/mindset/psychology game.
Here you are pointing out some issues - abandonning discipline:

- making huge bets, and not thinking it could be a wrong bet : aka not imagining one could be wrong
- may be he did not handle his year loss: wanting to recover all his losses in one mega winner.
- the all or nothing mentality, that has its troot in 'lack' mindset

I suspect we we are seeing less drone content across the net since the election.
soros has probably closed up the check books for a while.

No

Nitro is a terrible terrible speculator and thinks he's smarter than everyone else, but probably a decent human being.

Futurecurrents is a deranged lunatic who lives in a run down studio apartment with his male companion blow-up doll and blames fossil fuels and the Republican Party for his failures in life.
Hahahahahahah.

I didn't think so either... Nitro was always polite to me. I suspect he's a professor or scientist in real life. That's why I asked, it would be like a Jeckyl/Hyde thing. Which would have shocked me for Nitro.
