& like your example YM has been weaker, more polar bear much of time[DIA=old industrials, but YM =nice tick size]
This could be wrong, but did notice a stonger than average uptrend in cash DIA when former GS & now NYSE John Thain
mentioned its strength , in NOV-Jan,2005.......trends,
