I'll be serious for minute here.... If you have any "mental demons" in your trading, then nothing else matters... you WILL lose money. Demons will take any system or edge that you think you have....and they will shove it up your ass and then kick you in the teeth and send you home crying. I don't care who you are... if you first can not control the demons... then don't bother going any further... do not pass GO...do not collect $200.

Some traders suggest that its you against the market... against all those big professional money managers.....not true.....
Its you against yourself. As far as competing against all those giant money professionals.. YOU don't..... thats not your role.
Your job is to be a parasite.... riding their moves on that small window that gives you the greatest odds.

These are the reasons why someones IQ has little or no bearing to ones trading ability. Its all a mind F*ck.

Using price only? That seems a bit hard to believe. I don't doubt that there are successful traders who use price alone as an input, however, I would be hard pressed to accept that they are anywhere near 90% accurate. (Perhaps my frame of reference comes from my own limitations. I use price, volume and one other variable, and have a method that is quite comfortably reliable. However, it is not even in the same neighborhood as Mr. 90%.) I know that accuracy alone does not tell the whole story, however, I do agree with you that it is essential for most people in order that they not be destabilized.

Sorry, porgie, but I think you may be trying to impress us with your sense of humor at suggesting >90% accuracy using only price. Heck, >90% accuracy using every variable imaginable still seems like an astonishing feat!

Let's say for instance that 50% of the time we are crowing.....other 50% of time we are crying.........or 90% of time we are crowing........10% crying........I like crowing time a lot better........although I don't crow arrogantly only honestly.....I have cried too long.....WHEN WE REACH THE POINT THAT WE CAN CROW WINNING AND LOSING THEN IT IS ALL BETTER....LOSING WILL HAPPEN...I STILL DON'T LIKE IT......JUST COST OF DOING BUSINESS.........
