okay okay already................the 3 words are change with channel..........actually those are not the words for vol. but they work very well........try it sometimes.....change with channel...........buy to sell,,,,,sell to buy.....

Can anyone list any other platforms than the following that you use for trading. I want to start a poll to see who uses what, figured it would be a nice way to kill some time and see what everyone else uses, and I am not talking about personally created software, or software not widely available to the public.

The list so far:

CQG Trader
NinjaTrader

Realtick



So, am I missing any others that I can add to the poll?

*I personally use CQG Trader, but am going to switch to NinjaTrader or TradeMaven when I start trading full time*

Interesting you mentioned channel

because that is the exact thing I'm working on right now

to determine where we are in a channel can be very beneficial to position size and profit targets.

I assume when you are talking about channels, I believe you are probably defining the current channel,
the position of where you are in the channel
if channel is broken
if channel is now support instead of resistance if broken

I am talking about changing the channel...to a different market...such as nq/es.........FX.......like changing the channel from CBS to NBC....that is the channel ..YM too volatile....for me now...................I don't know anything about channel trading....have looked at it but looks like too much whipsaw for me......... I don't trade, only develop systems....still developing.........like all others here, looking for a freebie..........If my studies of support/resistance work out I will have the real edge......the edge is the key, i think......support/resistance =EDGE......time will tell........
