LOL, don't you want me to be wrong sometimes ? When I have good trades you whine they are fake, When I make bad ones you whine that now all of the sudden they are real. Which is it ?
Go back to last monday when I lost for the day, what happened the next 4 days ? As I told you I am bored with scalping and daytrading. How many points did I make last Tuesday ? Weds ? for the week ? I wanted a new challenge and so far I am getting it.ed There is nothing wrong with broadening your trading style just in case 1 of your methods no longer works in the future, you have something to fall back on. So cheer for me ripper, cheer for me to lose on the trade, pray for me to lose. Whether I win or lose you are still a bitter a$$hole in the end so it makes no differerence to me.

A suggestion... post charts at end of day that shows entry/exit points. I'd do it but I dont want to lose my edge to everyone in my "break even" system!!
 
ok, so far i'm -1, and +3 YM very strong today its resisting the selloffs so far so I'm looking to swing long with a good entry or scalp long at least, I'm looking for a squeeze attempt, the question is do we get a shooting star or do we get volume and follow thru, we will have to see.. picked up +.18 on DELL this AM so that was nice :)

ym is crazy strong at this point, this thing is so ridiculously manipulated its crazy, but it looks like they are getting ready to squeeze it hard into that fed announcement.. i should have gotten more than that +3 on the short (last trade) but its got buyers.

i would go in heavy long if I got a good entry but usually they run stops on both sides on the FOMC so I'll wait it out
 
empee, I have only been doing short scalps this morning so far and have had decent luck. May try to hit another 1 if we get a 10:30 reversal. Overall I am bearish for the day and I still hold my swing trade position that is sucking water right now.
 
volente, all the thrust downs so far have no follow thru (after first 10 mins of the open), i feell pretty strongly they are going to squeeze it hard, but thats what makes a market. Then again, they could squeeze it and we get that wierd selloff at the end or tommorow like we had yesterday!

HERE COMES THE SQUEEZE (actually i think it will be ramped up into FOMC + triggered by it)

note I dont give any recommendations since we all have to follow our own systems maybe we get a lean to run some stops etc but its very ominious cause the daily candles suggest exhaustion (of course we all know indexes trade totally different than stocks), ie they paint a shooting star than the next day they ramp it etc

also remember guys it doesn't matter as much if your right or not (% wise) it matters % right, risk/reward, and size

ie volente could have a 80 pt loss but if his normal stop is 20 (1/4) nd he is trading say 1/10 size, its actually a smaller loss etc etc. so I dont think you can determine profitability on just posts here..
 
omg, I just thought of something!!!

That selloff into the close was supposedly Merrill Lynch selling (according to some other posts here, I dont have a squawk).
The guy said they started dumping after being a buyer all day...

Everyone know that was wierd behavior at the close, do you think they did it to paint the daily into a star? I mean look at it they way the daily looks it looks like a failed breakout from a prior range, so they sell it off, paint the charts to sucker in all the shorts cause it looks like a perfect short setup, like a TRAP!

Then they squeeze it hard today killing all the shorts.. everyone knows that wierd behavior yesterday wasn't right, if ML wanted to sell they wouldn't have sold like that..

I would think that if thats the case they are planning on taking ym several hundred points higher, ie they are going to be a big buyer or they know someone else is or something.

okay I know enough with consipiracy theories but I posted here cause only they intraday guys would see it (ie daily/longer term guys wouldn't even know!)

If I'm right THATs why they rallied overnite (as usual of course) but even on a DELL miss futures are gapping up? they are gapping it up cause they're trapping the shorts, not giving them any pullbacks to cover, thats why all the dips today are resisting a selloff, they are holding it not giving shorts an oscillation down to cover!!! omg
