ok volente no more bsing i declare a cease fire. the last few weeks have been nothing personal i'm just trying to warn all this is one tough ass game. belive me i've had my share of huge loses jsut like any trader who's been around a long time. actually you've had some very good calls

I've been watching black guards calls. Very good ones I must say. He's a reversion to mean trader who is able to recognize market turns. Seems to trade downtrend reverals with bigger size.
Here is the direction for today.........who cares?........trade the direction it goes.....not where u think it is going.....the problem with most posts here is the guessing game.....in the end that is foolish and wasting time and money.........
When the trend is seen, go with it......is that so difficult to grasp?...you can't make the market do anything, no one is your enemy but yourself.........learn to recognize the real turns....that is not so difficult, unless you are micro trading the short charts...and not getting the bigger picture.........
If you are trying to hop a moving freight train, will you run in the same direction the train is moving, or will you run in opposite direction? The trend is your friend.....
yesterday is a perfect example of why I don't listen to external news or information..reports, etc.and don't give a hoot about what the market is going to do........system tells me that early in the run, very early.......Bernanke announcement at noon.....it leaked early and market reversed on my position.......but guess what, the stop was already at breakeven so did I win:?.....yes, I broke even........even if I had lost the initial short stop was pocket change......... If you can't accept a breakeven as a win then shame on you.......you are a gambler.......
If this is too mean and feelings are hurt please excuse me

Here is where I disagree. I knocked down a 38 point win short yesterday but your system let a win turn into a loss because of news ? Your system cost you money because it was dead set on being short and did not know to cover at 270-280. My losing trades from yesterday were all at least 10 points in the green at one time after putting them on but I did not take it because I am trying to capture more points per trade. I had a good week last week with this strategy but yesterday finally got me. I know I can always go back to 10 point scalps which is my bread and butter but I am just trying to expand my trading strategies right now.
