Thanks for your thoughts on BT. A couple further questions:

1. Have you had any problems with IB TWS going down during the day which would create the scenario you described in point 1?

2. Does BT have a "Flatten Button" which simultaneously exits the current position at market and cancels both the profit target and stop loss orders? I've been testing TradeMaven, and it offers this rip-cord feature. I couldn't tell from BT's website if this is offered in the program.

3. I see there's a DOM button. Does this give a display with bid/ask volume for +/- 5 ticks or more?

Give it a rest. You made your point, now move on. At least the guy's posting his trades. So lets say he's fudging, incorporate a 10 min lag into the data. still makes the trades profitable. you sound like a broken tape, and at some point it does get to be annoying.

If someone was to take the time and effort to post fake trades.... What would the benefit from it?

Can someone answer me that question. A popularity contest on making money is just dumb. If the person posting the trades isn't making those correct trades, then he isn't making that much money... so he losses. If he does, he wins. If he is lying, he gains a few buddies that like him on a forum.

Now IF... volente intends on starting up a project where he invites people on these forums to it, be it a signal service or something. I could understand the motive in doing this.

But Volente just doesn't seem like he'd waste his time on that. Although I'd admit people probably do, do that and make money off of screwing people. But I just can't see Volente doing that. Therefore, there is no reason for him to post fake trades, because he is either making money, or he isn't.

Lying has no benefit unless you are trying to screw other people out of money. If someone else has a good reason, please post it, but I just can not understand why people are just bashing on people that post trades, and saying they "Photoshopped" it.

Complete BS... I respect Volente, but if he came out with a system tomorrow selling it to me, I'd use a brain and say something is wrong, but until he does that, the only thing anyone is just being jealous of his trading.

So much jealousy of when a person does well, and then he gets criticized.

So i'm done with my little argument, but people please read this and someone try to give me a better explination of why anyone would waste their time to lie.

Porgie for example, seemed to claim he was a great trader and had his system down pat. But he didn't have jack.... and I didn't care.

If Volente really is lying, then I just say he is wasting his time, and maybe you should just ignore it. But I enjoy it, so I'll keep reading this thread. I have gotten sick of the forum badly and has been pushing me not to post anymore. But this is just getting ridiculous.

Keep up the good work Volente. Definately some nice action today while I was watching from school.
 
Jmow, Just curious about your trading. You posted the first few days and then just stopped posting them. How have they been overall? Is your PL negative or positive?

Stevegee, I just wanted to point out that in the bias rules that I posted, T days do not always close green, since that is what you are basing your data on, but the bias is for them to craw their way back positive from sell offs.

nobody's accusing volente of lieing. its jsut in cyber space you take everythiung with a grain of salt. the truth be it matters little what volente is doing as it makes nobody money one way are another. the pt is people are getting caught up on these and other boards wether people are making money. i simply said nobodsy knows if volente or anyone is making money and it matters little. yes volente seems to have had some good calls but nobody knows how many bad trades he or anyone else has had. if volente's success on posting has made others money more power too you then it helped

Does it ever occur to you that I get nothing out of posting these trades. Posting them does not make me a dime. I am not even trying to sell anything like most of the con artists on here. What you see is what you get and for free, what more do you want ?
