Chat rooms *seem* like a good idea and newbies always seem to ask for them. In reality they're almost useless due to the constant chatter and distraction. Imagine jmowery and porgie going at it in a chat room.

if jm had listened to porgie tallk he would not be suffering drawdown...this forum will put him out of business .....if he lives long enough and i hope he does, he can become a trader......he hasn't scratched the surface yet will take a few years...he is still in teh same box as everyone else on this forum

this forum is overrun with unsuccessful wannabe traders....who won't do the work it takes to become successful.....if you think what you learned elsewhere will help you trade the emini's intraday, save your money....
 
C'mon porgie what work should I do, where should I go besides here? I truly do like contrary opinions because I know I don't know alot of things. And I *do* "wannabe" successful.
 
Steve, believe it or not I really truly hope you will be successful....most of it will depend on how badly you want it....it will frustrate, confound, and make you sick at your stomach. but that is cost of doing business.......look to the price with realtime charts.....until things start to clarify....over and over...the shorter the charts the more the brain has to deal with.....the longer the charts the more lagging they become...find the medium ones that work for you.....I suggest 10 minute charts have everything you need to be successful....good luckand good bye

Porgie, you just make me more determined to do better, that is all you do. You are like punks around in school that push around people, and I'm one of those kids who don't put up with it and do something about it.

So, you just motivate me, that is all.... maybe not what you had in mind.

My mentor has been helping me realize things every day. It is only a matter of time when it sets in and things start to click, but until that happens, I will take losses and learn from those mistakes.
