Hey guys quit knocking his mentor. I have done some mentoring in the past and have never charged a dime. They are hard to find but there are a few altruistic individuals who find great enjoyment in helping others learn and watching them be successful.

ya JM consider yourself pretty lucky ... most people wont mentor you without you paying them thousands of dollars.
That guy must be pretty cool. I've been on and off trading for 8 years and been doing most of it solo (its pretty rough when you make mistakes that cost you $$$; when someone like a mentor could of shown you not to do that).
I'm glad there are message boards like this because all of you guys are my mentors
cant wait to see how you do JM; ie its a great learning experience for all of us.

Oh yeah, you told me that before... I forgot....
I said before... I just like the way I can view and manipulate the data in eSignal. It just feels natural, and I can zoom in and out, adjust the charts any way I like. I feel that it is the most important part of my trading set-up.
I have to inform my broker that I do indeed want to use TradeMaven and not CQG Trader. It costs 50 a month, but to prevent making mistakes with CGQ, I'll pay the price. It should be a good investment if I make profits in trading.

Yeah... like I said... it is amazing, it's like the greatest gift, it could indeed be a life changing one. That is why I'm trying to help everyone on these forums. I try posting charts of what my mentor shows me, and put what I know to good use and try and help others.
I would like to mentor new traders in the future once I get good enough and enough experience. I can't do that right now, because... well I'm trading under the help of a mentor.
I will not lie to you guys. I don't think I could have done this on my own. Back with equities and forex... I just didn't have enough money to be successful, and didn't understand that trading really was more of an emotional battle, than just coming up with an amazing system.
So, I really am greatful for what I got. I intend on taking advantage in everyway I can to learn as much as I can. I also want to continue posting charts and trying to help people and show the trades I make.
I don't know why Porgie seems to take offense to this, or just seems jealous... or I don't have the slightest clue as to what his problem is, but I am just not going to let it bother me anymore.
I'll just shove on and continue trying my best with what little I have... but my mentor is a good guy and I will hopefully be good enough to learn everything I can from him.

I would think it would be pretty hard to trade futures and to read his book (least the one that I read (was newer).
Because he talks about strict risk management and like using 2% of a acct for risky adventures. And it seems like most futures traders use way more then 2%.
ahh trading in the zone that was it ...
maybe the discuplined trader would focus more on trading risky investments.
I know I had a hard time reading trading in the zone because of all his talk about risking a very low % of your acct on risky investments and on any one trade.

this board is laughable. you got some snot nosed 21 year old kid dominating the board with stupid ass messages about "his mentor". son you've done nothing in this game and nobody gives one crap about yopur mentor. get your ass in there and shut up and start trading. your chance of success is about 2% and you'll find real time is alot different than paper trading. lets forget this stupid exhange with this kid and get back to posting entry and exit reports. no offense kid but till you have success real time trading don't post anymore
I heard major problems with QCharts.
Esignal is 130 a month for me, but I do subscribe to a few extra data feeds.
Again, just tell them FXCM or Alaron Trading is your broker in an e-mail, and they will give you $50 off your first 2 months.
I actually really negotiated and forced them to give me 25 off for the first 3 months (I already had a trial with them, but tried a second time, but they said instead, they'd give me 25 off the first 3 months, instead of a trial).
So get a trial. Use that for the first month.
Tell them you really want to try it out again, maybe you get lucky and they give you 25 off the first three months like they did me, and also tell them that FXCM or AlaronTrading is your broker *Maybe more that you can tell, but these are the two I told them, and lucky enough they said they give discounts* and they don't check to make sure that they are your broker, they just gave me the money off.
I don't know if that sounded confusing or not, but I have 75 off, for first 2 months, and then 25 off for the third month.
18 years old... do some math.
And thank you, I do intend to "get my ass in there" and trade.
I don't expect anyone to give a crap about my mentor... because I appreciate what he does for me.
Like I said, if everyone wants me to just keep quiet, I have no problem... I'm just trying to help those that deserve, or want it.

BTW, what makes me snot nosed. And do you really think, that I just expect to go into live trading and make tons of money? Or any money at all?
