volente you trading today?

dear mr quicktrader

if you want to become more successful as a trader

I would suggest you try to
limit these "to be in the game" trades

"just 1 contract - to be in the game"

:)

Mr SethArb

I am a very successful trader, been doing this full time for 11 years.
From time to time I keep small positions so that I can get a better feel on market direction.

Long 10520;
stop 10500

my apologies then ...

if you put on a position to get a "feel of the market" and prefer to do this rather than just watch ...

by the way ... I would have stayed short in YM
from your 10640 level
but ONLY if I had
a guarantee of covering at even or at a small loss

after the FED announcement ... alas there are no guarantees in life

PS nice scalp long ....

:(

I agree I should have stayed short from 10640. I blew that one.

Stopped out on rest of long at break even.

Flat and done for the day.

SethArb,

That message should have been for me :)

That feeling that I need to be in the market at all times is with me. Its hard to get rid of. I need to treat my trading as a business instead of a casino :)

I got home at 3 exactly.

Went long, but had to leave soon because of an accident with my sisters dog.

Mentor suggesting being short so I reversed and my stop was hit right before I left. I should have remained long anyways so my fault.

Left at around 3:15, so just decided to let it be.

The green lines are the trades I would have probably taken looking at it now, can't say for sure for live trading though since I wasn't here, but the potential for a nice profit during the last hour was there today, so it was promising.

I wouldn't mind seeing more final hours like this.
