YM Traders

ym's are tricky. like today i bet many people were leaning short when we exploded up 40-50 pts. i'd like to know what % of traders on trade the ym's or emini spoos make money at the end of the year? in stocks its maybe 5% in futures i bet its less. i know one thing scalping for the avg guy paying $4 or so roundtrip a contract doesn't work. one must position
 
no question there's a few good traders in every contract. but i'd say the avg guy has a better chance in stocks than the ym's or es's. jsut like few make money in options. many people overtrade the ym's and es's becasue the fills are so easy and fast it's addicting to get in and out
 
If one can trade DIA successfully, then they should be able to trade YM , granted it does take some adjusting to the volatility.
I actually found equities harder to trade because of all of the market maker and specialist games and the simple fact that there would be days when the market would tank yet the single stock I was short would rally and give me a loss. Trading YM to me is so much cleaner without having to worry about upticks to short or short term manipulation.
 
If 5% win.....then 95% lose.......because 95% won't give 100% all the time........90% system is the answer....10% daily return on investment is minimum to expect when the system is developed...YM intraday......clear.......when the system comes to life it is the same feeling as Dr. Frankenstein had......it's alive....it's alive......
