Anyone here know how many YM traders there are in the world?
With around 100,000 contracts traded per day and lets say each trader trades an average of 100 RTs per day, that would come down to around 1,000 YM traders. 100 RTs per day is on the high side, but that number would be the median since there are people who trade 30 cars a pop etc..
And lets see if those traders on average have a $20,000 account.. That is $20,000,000 you have up for grabs in the YM market each day.
....lol... just running some numbers.

Acct size only dictates (according to your broker/clearing firm) how many contracts you can play with, not how much you can win or lose. Futures can have margin calls... "Get those brokers back here! Turn those machines back on!"
