sometimes we make absolute statements like only an idiot trades only one market...say hi to idiot.......and sideways is not a trend.......or something like that.......as you evolve as a trader you will find that not to be true.........please don't respond angry and hurt porgie's feelings........it goes way beyond where we are talking on these forums, but yet is simpler than we ever talk about.........learning the markets is a big stumbling block...........learning a good system that reads the markets for you and how to operate it by the rules is a big excellent accomplishment..........

Guess I'm not there porgie. I do believe specialization to the extent of trading only a single product (note the distinction between market and product) is idiotic, imo.

it is possible to have such a "ROBUST" system that needs no tweaking better known as curve fitting which means if done during trading you have a weak system.....not you coolweb, but others who are good traders............a system that works all day in any market is what is best.......but few create that......very few..........so we put up multiple screens to watch the same stuff in different scenarios..and time frames so by golly, we won't miss those easy pictures tomorrow.......then tomorrow throws and unbelievable bunch of crap at us and all screens look different .........on and on to infinity it goes if we let it................then we have too much info and distraction kills us..........at end of day we see the woulda coulda shoulda stuff day after day.........i trade one time frame, one system, one market..........YM intraday.......ES NQ just as suitable but pain in the neck compared to YM........stop the pain and trade one system on one chart time frame on one market....and one screen............... ..IMHO

I do appreciate the response......i said earlier that i liked some of your trades in chat room......i was being very sincere about that.......reminds me a lot of what i do basically.......a lot.......i truly wish you well and hope you succeed in a big way.........i would never wish upon anyone what i have been through to achieve system accuracy ........just foolish to push myself physically and emotionally as i have but i love this stuff as i think you do.....i would advise anyone to be happy with a 60% system or greater and work on the emotional side of the deal............it is just not in my nature to accept a high rate of losers....or emotional stability to tolerate them .....best wishes in your trading career.........

Not I but I've seen the P&L of someone who has. Actually he made your 8K/month for a year in one day last week.

i saw that also.....was the most awesome thing i have ever seen.......that p$l was like none other ever seen by human eyes.......and his brothere made twice that in the early morning and overnight period..........see some unbelievable things on this forum.......

You didn't see squat..... because you live in a sheltered world....I feel bad for you....damaged......not able to handle loses....I didn't see it on this forum....btw....but I did find him thru this thread.....oh.....he'll be trading live at the Flordia expo....imagine that.....having the balls to trade live......or even call a trade.....no mythical system.....no bitter old man....have a nice day........
