Just being mean today......I hope each one of you guys tears the market up today and everyday.......It is absolutely possible....go to db phoenix price and volume older et journals...........I don't use volume but most all good traders do.....db knows his stuff....and keeps it simple........just a suggestion from a dumb man....but not to dumb to learn....
 
lil........if u r an intraday trader filling the gap is irrelevant because u don't know when.....today is an eternity for intraday:
 
Your right... I dont know when! Especially a gap over 40pts like today. I stay ready... waiting.... until everything that i look at tells me that the play now has high odds of working. I only look to do one or 2 trades a day. Not looking for alot of points.... just a little to wet my beak. I concentrate on few plays... that have high odds of working out. Diffrent from stocks. My R/R is not as tight... but my batting ave is much better. Not every gap fills for the same reason.
 
lil,,,,,,,, that is very excellent....always work to improve system...rules......strategies, etc....always....but keep the best only for real money trading........chunk the rest into the good but no cigar box, and it might come back later as great stuff as progress moves along.........like a baseball farm team.......
