YM Traders

Hey Volente, is that trading chat room still going on. I have been in a few chat rooms on PalTalk with stock traders who are nice and share thoughts about stocks, but would like to hook up with a few of the members on ET in a chat.

Just wondering.

Well thank god I don't let any comments affect my trading, and I don't rely on the forums to make my trading better. I rely on experience to make myself better. Kinda like the saying "Practice makes perfect" Well it won't make anyone perfect, but it helps.

How about we leave it at, I don't comment on your trading, you don't comment on mine. You have provided the most criticism to my trading on the forum. There is nothing more you can criticise that I can possibly benefit.

I take criticism, and use it to my advantage, but there is no more from your posts. I just took you off my block list, and I'm already at it with you, and I don't care for it.

I have accepted appologies from you what, 2.... 3 times, and you have appologized to the thread at least 4 or 5 times.

I don't care if you are positive or negative, it has no affect on me, you can continue to do whatever it is you do. I'm sure the majority of what you say will be usefull for the hundreds of new people that come into trading expecting to make millions.

Whereas I come into trading wanting to learn, and don't care about money, I'd just like to make a living from trading and independence is what I enjoy mostly out of the idea of trading. Money is a distant third, because I can persue my hobby of creating music, and possibly traveling in the future.

But I work hard and I have studied charts more than what even many of you would consider normal. Even today I have studied and tested on at least 30 hours of charts (increased speed on replay of course), and I have tested on replay data on YM and a few stocks as well to test S&R. So if hard work and dedication makes me cocky and my defense of what I do makes me arrogant, then fine, I'm cocky, and I'm arrogant, but that is fine with me. I don't believe I am, and my friends don't, but If that is the way I appear on ET, then so be it.


I enjoy trading, and will continue to do so. If I screw up and lose all my money somehow, I'll go work a night job until I can afford to take another crack at it. But that is how it is, and how I'd like to leave it.

Again, just adding more crap to this thread. Any further conversation on this worthless topic will be carried out in PM porgie, because if it isn't, I'll just block you like usual and be done with it. It is pointless, and worthless and contributes nothing to anyone.

I disagree, you can learn a lot from forums like this if you know how to weed through the crap.
 
here's my system............market goes down.....sell........market goes up........buy.................market goes sideways....buy and sell and buy and sell.............
 
JM You are on the right track after reading your last post......risk/reward.........trade management.......go to be stop......or whatever u use..........intensive studies of charts....s/r is easier to see than anything else..........besides trends........I truly like what you have said in the last post.....I will be positve from now on JM....I think u are for real.........dead charts observations can be tested realtime charts but s/r is what it is....just knowing how to react when it breaks and setting stops accordingly is the key...you have my word, no more negative crap.........
 
where the stops are set is dependant upon entry position.....risk reward ratio excellence is what keeps us trading long term as shallow hole is easier to crawl out of than deep hole.........
