YM in a Can

I do not think there will be many more trades. Our 10263 reversal long is close but there is no action. This last 45 minutes resembles night session trading.


Here is the current attachment before we do the new calc for tonight.

See attached. (I used settlement price for close, does it matter to you folks? it was 10278 vs. last trade of 10273) It seems to effect the levels in the equation and I do not know which price is best. Any comments? I know Tripack used settlement prices in the ES when he had his journal. What do charts show? Do they show last trade then and then when the settlement is posted do they correct their data?

So...system is SHORT from 10321 and the new long reversal brackets are 10352, 10241

P.S. You really do not need charts with this type of trading, unless you enhance it with indicators.

I went to the link but I must "contact them" for the performance record. They do not trade the YM with it apparantly.

I do not relish calling them up and trying to be sold by a broker. Remember, I used to be a broker and I do not like the work(glorified telemarketer) and feel sorry for those guys.

But I bookmarked the link as it tracks many different systems, thanks again for the info.

System calcs reset for the current open trade in the YM which is a SHORT at 10321

old brackets long reversal 10352, 10241
new brackets long reversal 10352, 10281

P.S. interesting to note that the h4 bracket is still 10352

ok, net LONG from 10281 (short reversal brackets at 10329, 10258).

Settlement should be used although I don't because I used fixed time close :D

p.s.: you have a function for entering working day in excel but must install the macros library on excel cdrom.

P.S. This would be an instance where "Elite Traders" would want to trail down since we do not have a level to complete the bracket with. The way it is now, the next calc will give us a level.
