YM daytrade beginner advice

The Mini-Dow is very liquid during the day. However, at night the US futures lose their liquidity. I suggest maybe trading the Nikkei or the DAX at night.
 
I've seen others say the foreign trading is a bit more adventerous. How are the spreads and whiplashes with the Dax, or Nikkei?

I want to trade sp-emini, e-mini nasdaq,mini size dow. So you say it is better to trade during 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. Do you recommend any easy system to trade e-mini for beginner.
 
YM is best to daytrade between 9:30am - 12pm EST. The same as all Eminis. If you want to trade graveyard shift, you should look at forex.

In regards to the Nikkei 225. Do not hold a position overnight (Tokyo time), it can gap 400 points or more. I had a stop set at 100 ticks and it opened up 300 points below my stop for an additional $300 loss, this was the SGXNKM Nikkei 225 mini Singapore at about $1.00 a tick.
 
My best advice for real beginners (retail traders) is not to trade

In general I have never seen a beginner who was properly prepared to trade...

What you ought to do is observe a skilled professional real time.

Second choice would be to use a sim (I like buttontraders method of recording actual intrady sessions for use on their sim)

After that, I guess one MIGHT try just watching a market trade over a period of months (if they had access to some expert commentary)..

Of course this is unrealistic, as new traders always figure they are ready to go, and will be successful...They never are....sigh

Thank you for advice. Accually i do not what is funtion of sim , what is the difference between sim and demo. How sim funt. If you tell me i will be happy.
