That's nice. Then we can all agree that the science is not settled as the GW cultists would have us believe. Not even close to being settled! The only thing that we know for sure is it's getting a wee bit warmer than what one might expect. Why? How? There are obviously multiple factors involved. All this still needs futher investigation. Much more investigation before we collapse our economy and tax ourselves into oblivion.

No. I 'm sorry you're wrong. The science is for all intents and purposes settled. Virtually all the relevant scientists all over the world agree. Shell oil agrees.


fact: CO2 is a greenhouse gas

fact: CO2 has gone up some 35% over the last hundred years from the burning of fossil fuels

fact: temperatures are going up exponentially. The hockey-stick chart is correct.

fact: solar radiation does not account for the bulk of the change in temp


We ignore these facts at the peril of future generations. Big oil and coal would love it if we did. To dispute these facts is your right but they have been scrutinized extensively by people smarter than both you and I, and with huge financial incentives if disproved. They remain true.


What we do about it is separate question that should not impinge on the determination of the science.
