Unfortunately, we don't know the details of what the police were doing just before the shooting such as ordering the victim to put his hands up.

Since I generally abide by laws and don't cause too much trouble, your desire to put me in prison is unlikely to happen. But thanks for the love anyway.

Of all of the unarmed people shot and killed by police in 2015, 40 percent of them were black men, even though black men make up just 6 percent of the nation’s population.

Blacks are around 26% of those killed by police in recent years. Armed or unarmed, the racial proportion is the same. The "police are killing unarmed black men" narrative is just a lie.

26% of those killed by cops, 13% of the population. Sounds bad until you accept that blacks account for over half of homicide offenders, and are several times more likely than whites to commit violent crimes of all sorts. (Everybody, of course, knows this - with the possible exception of Gen Z suburbanites who have grown up bathed in propaganda, and interact with the world entirely through TikTok and Instagram) More crime -> more interactions with cops -> more police shootings.

As for the detail of specific cases... the USA is a big and violent country where injustices sometimes occur, and I daresay they sometimes occur to blacks. But the deification and worship of low life street criminals is just f'ing weird.
