the first trade I took in the NQ resulted in a stop, then I entered again for a small gain. I also was looking at the ES which was showing a good bit of relative weakness vs the nasdaq and the SP, so took a short there which resulted in a gain as well. Overall Im flat now on so so trading. Not extremely happy as my largest loss is bigger than my largest gain, however Im flat after commissions so it could be worse.

[08:56] <Brandon> the next trade occured in the ES
[08:56] <Brandon> and if you put that chart side by side with the NQ
[08:56] <Brandon> you will see it was showing a lot of relative weakness
[08:56] <Brandon> as the NQ was rallying fairly strongly
[08:56] <Brandon> the ES could not get anything together
[08:57] <Brandon> and meantime the TICKs did not look too wonderful either
[08:57] <Brandon> so this provided motivation to short that

[08:21] <Brandon> I tend to not trade based on upcoming news events etc

[08:22] <Brandon> I can see that in just the last several weeks the stock is already up over 150%
[08:22] <Brandon> so it seems like its really getting ramped up on a buy the rumor sorta thing
[08:23] <Brandon> and I would expect that it always experiences a sell the news sort of event as well
[08:23] <Brandon> that said, if you havent been to vegas yet this year and have some money you want to throw around
[08:23] <Brandon> be my guest
[08:23] <Brandon> it could still get some play today
[08:23] <Brandon> as its still in buy the rumor area
[08:23] <Brandon> and we intraday setups would be fine
[08:23] <Brandon> but I wouldnt take it long term
[08:23] <Brandon> or hold it overnight myself

Late last week, when the company announced it was dropping auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers in favor of Grant Thornton, Applied Digital told the Securities and Exchange Commission that PricewaterhouseCoopers' financial statements "contained no adverse opinion or disclaimer ... except that the reports [for 2000 and 2001] contained an explanatory paragraph expressing doubt about the Registrant's ability to continue as a going concern."

Oh, yeah. Except for that little thing, everything was fine

[13:10] <Brandon> which forms a bear flag
[13:10] <Brandon> also the bottom keltner channel was taken out
[13:10] <Brandon> suggesting continuation of the downtrend
[13:11] <Brandon> we have not see any extreme ticks or anything else to suggest this would not be the case
[13:11] <Brandon> so we its in effect
[13:11] <Brandon> now this bear flag rallies up to the moving average
[13:11] <Brandon> as well as you can see the prior (globex) lows
[13:11] <Brandon> those had been support
[13:11] <Brandon> but support once broken becomes resistence
[13:11] <Brandon> so its a rally to duel resistence
[13:11] <Brandon> after the lower channel is taken out
