Yawn....... Israel attacked by Hamas

Well at the border crossing in Israel we have the families and friends of hostages camping out refusing to let trucks into Gaza until the family members are released. At the Rafah crossing with Egypt we have the Egyptian government officials demanding huge bribes for each truck to allow entry in Gaza. Basically a no win situation with few trucks getting in.

Air drops may be the next best way of providing food aid. There was video recently of an airdrop to Gaza where the boxes with parachutes fell into the sea and men swam out to retrieve them. Once they pulled the boxes ashore there was lots of fighting with men wielding clubs and whips to stop over people from taking the food boxes.
citation needed. As far as I know it's racist nutjobs, settlers from the WB among them. I've not read a single thing about "bribes". I've read plenty of trucks being turned around to reinspect by Israel for having a metal spoon on board or some shit.....slowing trucks to a trickle.

Israelis are the new Stasi.

So to recap for those not paying attention, Israel apologists have so far said:

Israel's cutting water, electricity and food because not doing so give "Hamas" an advantage, don't call it a medieval siege
Israel's not carpet bombing, it's surgically bombing
Israel's carpet bombing because Hamas's launching from civilian infra but doing its best to minimize casualties, it's giving them notice!
Israel's had to bomb the shelters the notice told them to go to because Hamas uses them as human shields by building tunnels under them
Israel's not conducting ethnic cleansing, it's evacuating to save lives
Israel's safeguarding the evacuation corridor, that was Hamas bombing the corridor
Israel's had to carpet bomb because Oct7, but have you compared it to Dresden?
Israel's not pushing people into Egypt, that'd be ethnic cleansing, it's pushing them south to safe refugee camps
Israel bombing refugee camps because Hamas found itself there
Israel is not blocking aid, Hamas is stealing it
Israelis may be blocking aid, but that's not starving them, why don't they release the hostages?
Israel's not starving people, that would be a war crime, the real terrorists are the aid workers
Israel may be starving people, but that's because Hamas smuggles shit, the starvation is on Hamas.
Israel may be starving people, but it did not shoot these people, it's clearly their fault for going feral from hunger, we told you they were human animals <<you are here

This is not trampling to death (NSFW)

The Israeli army initially said a violent mob looted the aid trucks, overrunning dozens of people.

In that statement, the army only talks about injured people. In a later report, the Israeli army stated that dozens of people were killed in the crowds.

The army later amended its statement to say soldiers fired warning shots after a crowd stormed the trucks.

They then allegedly shot at the legs of the Palestinians, Israeli media report .

An initial investigation by the Israeli army states that only ten of the deaths were the result of Israeli fire, the rest were caused by the storming of the aid trucks.

A spokesperson for the Israeli government told Reuters that the deaths occurred when Gazan truck drivers drove into the crowd.
According to him, dozens of people were killed. "It's clearly a tragedy, but we don't know the details yet."

21,000 precision guided munitions supplied by America since Gaza war which are striking civilians.

You're doing a great job and leading a great example to the world, Biden, of how to run a democracy.
Putin and China and North Korea will be proud of your leadership.
You've just given a green light to our dark future.
Special thankyou to jesus

Biden doubts Gaza truce after Israeli shooting leaves 112 Palestinians dead
US President Joe Biden cast doubts on ceasefire by Monday, after Israeli troops shot at Palestinians waiting for food aid, killing at least 112 and wounding 760 others.

The bullshit from politicians is constant, tiring and endless.

The New York Times is conducting a leak investigation following a report in The Intercept about a yet-to-be-aired episode of The Daily addressing explosive claims of sexual violence committed by Hamas on October 7.

Management in recent weeks has pulled at least two dozen staffers, including Daily producers, into meetings in an attempt to understand how internal details about the podcast’s editorial process got out, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. The investigation, I’m told, is being led by Charlotte Behrendt, the paper’s director of policy and internal investigations.

It’s highly unusual for the Times to conduct a leak investigation, with multiple staffers saying this is the first such internal probe they can recall taking place. “It’s not something we do,” said one. “That kind of witch hunt is really concerning.” Though information has leaked out in the past—it’s par for the course for a newsroom as sprawling and influential as the Times—this disclosure presumably cuts deeper because it described internal decision-making around a story that had yet to be published.

“We aren’t going to comment on internal matters,” Times spokesperson Danielle Rhoades Ha said in a statement to Vanity Fair when asked about the leak investigation. “I can tell you that the work of our newsroom requires trust and collaboration, and we expect all of our colleagues to adhere to these values.”
