An old but good one, I was sent this in a chat with a man who with a man who has expertise from an unusual direction in the current situation.
Well I guess you were responding to MW but if you are remembering back to my post about one side has to win even if it is unfair, the corridor thing was very obviously coming.
Instead though, depriving the Israelis of a little foreign money for a while to build new planned cities perhaps in Lebanon and Egypt would be a way to go. It's only five million people.
Then they can have a proper war without all these hostages on grand and small scales.

And I don't think anyone here has a problem with the average citizen of the Gaza Strip... that wasn't my point. My point was there can be no negotiations with the Hamas. Each and every card carrying member needs vaporized.
And there is one more point worth mentioning... there are members of the "ordinary citizenship" that had to know where and what Hamas hides. Risky yes, but if you don't want your neighborhood flattened and all the carnage that goes along with that... you find a way to rat them out. Unlike the Cartels in Mexico, I highly suspect Hamas wasn't slipping the local daycares money to keep their mouths shut. Where there's a will there's a way. Stay silent, and this is what you get.

Wouldn't it be nice if Allah or God, perhaps Jesus the prophet or son of God depending on your beliefs, were to show up and put an end to these hostilities. I mean, this is where all the true believers live, the most faithful. It's understandable that the godless heathens of the West would be abandoned, but these people, the most devout? How bad does it have to get? How horrific the depravity of war must we see? How much suffering before this Saviour relieves us of our inhumane treatment of each other. One might be allowed to believe, or at least consider, we're on our own and all this killing in the name of a God that doesn't show up even in the most desperate of times is just silly? Simply the musings of an old man believing we can do better, we must do better, and it seems unlikely some divine intervention is on the horizon. It's on us, all of it, the good and the bad.
