The media just ignores the fact that Israel first claimed responsibility for the hospital.
That guy is a bit iffy being a social media influencer turned spokesman. All about the scoop with them so I can't discount he spoke without knowing.

However the sheer quantity of strikes indicates ongoing reckless action by Israel and these should not be overshadowed by one incident being this or that way.
There's PLENTY Israel is doing that is disproportionate.

The 40 beheaded was two seperate things colliding as "Chinese whispers" aka "Telephone" in the US.
I can't count the chats I've had with young Israelis around the world when they go on their post national service, government funded jaunt.
I realised however that most are just young people, some very honest and of course some using hyperbole. I heard a story about a mom or aunt having just left a cafe before a bomb went off so often I realised that this was too consistent in details and had to be a right winger "as good as true" fable they were told to say when they needed some higher ground.
But... There are still people who are normal and decent caught up on this, as we may all be of we don't stop treating Israel leadership and Jews generally as entirely adult equals. Their religous culture is a product of childish fairytales taken seriously by far too many.

As are the Muslims. We need to start calling this what it really is, Holy war, and as history has taught us, people waging holy wars do the unholiest of things. We're centuries past who threw the first stone. At this point we are left to conclude that Muslims and Jews wage war against each other because it gives them purpose to continue their fantasies.
