I give credit to Joe Torre. First he put Giambi in the 7th spot, a gutsy move.

Torre would have pulled Pedro, no matter what Pedro said. Torre pulled Clemmons, no questions asked.

Torre runs that ball club, which is something the Sox manager didn't do.

That's why they call him "skipper" and not "little buddy."
