If the republicans were not brain dead, they would have created Yang and the #Yanggang. No one, not even the mighty Bernie, will outpromise Yang. He is like a parody candidate.

He does have some good thoughts though. He is opposed to internet censorship and wants the big social media monopolies treated as public utilities. That's more than any of our guys have done or even suggested.
 
"an Asian guy who likes math" (as Yang described himself) sounds like a fine idea to me. Asians in general don't care much for the sob-story gripes of other minority groups, while a cold logical/mathematical mind seems like just what we need to help this messed-up society chart a way forward on the myriad of complex issues we face.

Sadly I don't think he has much of a chance. The Dem coalition's internal dynamics are all about emotional affirmations, who's more of a victim and whose feelings are hurt; at some point Yang will say the wrong thing or equivocate too much and he'll be out.

Yang is right about many things. Imo he's the smartest one up there. The rest are just politicians. I suppose Bloomberg and Steyers are no dummies either however. Yang can see where tech is taking us.... and like it or not.... tech will lead the way in everything. Everything. He doesn't stand a chance... but the man is worth listening to if you want a peek at the future.
