Y'all following this Epstein mess?

Yeh, last time around when it looked like Epstein was going to be tried, the conspiracy theory/possibility was that Comey's daughter would be in charge of the case (and she was) and that she would cut a leniency deal with Epstein in return for Epstein implicating Trump in underage mess.
Not sure that theory is still alive and well since Epstein left the building but maybe it is and will just move over to Maxwell.
She is over her head anyway. Only been out of law school a few years and does not seem to have handled any real cases other than the usual scutwork that goes with the lower level positions. She prosecuted some teenage guy for sending nude photos to a 14 year old and he plead to something. Whatever. Scutwork.
The theme in the media seems to be that she was missing and then was located in New Hampshire. I don't but all that just yet. More likely they had her under surveillance and were just monitoring all of her calls to see who she was collaborating with and where she would spill some info. Barr probably knew that she was in the net and would be taken into custody soon, and that was one of the reasons why he moved to replace the U.S. Attorney in the southern district. To get him out of the way to make sure that that comey broad was kept in her place.
What would be the logic behind this?
