All of us should be able to agree that kids getting slaughtered in their classrooms is unacceptable.This to me is the low hanging fruit of policy making. If we cannot get in lockstep on this I don't see how any viable solutions to any other issues can ever be dealt with.

Your comparison is ridiculous. Name one person who is advocating for more school shootings. There are none, while there are multiple incidents of people advocating for more adults performing sex acts in front of children, thousands advocating for sexual mutilation of children, and a president Joe Biden who has no issues with a 7 year old going through such procedures.
I've never seen anyone advocate for performance of sex acts in front of children. You're right though, millions of Americans should abandon the barbaric sexual mutilation known as circumcision. It's despicable
So earlier today, as it was a Saturday and I can't stand the 8000 commercials hourly on the 300 channels of bs I pay for that in reality I actually should be being paid to watch.... I always turn on C-Span.
They had the re-run from last Wednesday on.... a luncheon hosted by the Mitchell Center for Aerospace at the Army/Navy Country Club in Arlington, Va.
The 4 star from Space Command was the speaker.
(If any of you really want a one up on which stocks to invest in.... C-Span can be a goldmine if you possess the ability to think outside the box)
Anyway Captain... he addressed our challenges going forward.

So when it came down to the Q&A at the end of his remarks, I thought to myself.... here it comes... "So what is Space Command doing to promote the trans community?"
I was pleasantly surprised. Shocked would be a better word.
That question didn't come up at all.
The reporters... from dozens of well respected aerospace publications worldwide... they were all business. Not one ESG, LGBQTFYZ, EAD or whatever... not one question came up.
