Used to be a great homepage and news source. Did the newspapers get together and pay them to turn it into tabloid crap, or is it a sad reflection of the dumbing down of society?
Noticed that too.
Now they only run 4 types of stories-
1) Kardashian updates
2) Anti-Trump propaganda
3) Black Lives Matter/anti-cop/anti-white drivel
4) Alleged LGBT discrimination nonsense
One of the first things Marissa Mayer did was to hire Katie Couric. That reflects either a stunning cluelessness or an appalling contempt for your audience. Neither is good.
years ago... I had yahoo as my home page... I thought it was a good way to start the day.
a few years later I realize the substance to noise ratio made the blank page of google more attractive. But, I still preferred yahoo's search results. But, that changed quickly too.
