Yahoo headline - Miami plans big party when Castro dies
MIAMI - The city of Miami is planning an official celebration at the Orange Bowl whenever Cuban president Fidel Castro dies. Discussions by a committee appointed earlier this month by the city commission to plan the event have even covered issues such as a theme to be printed on T-shirts, what musicians would perform, the cost and how long the celebration would last.

I can understand a group celebrating a death of an unpopular person but not an American city. Not very civilized, more like the actions of a 3rd world city.

you know how much money this could bring in concessions..i dont think this was a city idea it's more like someone getting greased for making it happen...:D

pretty much...this incudes elected officials as well... we pretty much run the show down here ( the Cubans that is )...we are at the top of the food chain...then the whites, , then the colombians , Venezuelans, central americans so forth and so on until you get to the bottom dwellers but i wont say for fear of getting this thread deleted..:D
