Yahoo Finance historical data down?

I've been using them for a couple years. The data is good and it's free.
For some reason, they haven't updated their data for a couple days now. Anyone heard anything? Are they shutting it down?

They've missed database updates like this before too. Hopefully back to normal tomorrow.

Looks like they are back up (after I spent a couple hours trying to integrate a backup solution with eoddata.com )

I get the feeling that yahoo! soon will be charging for everything, even email.

Stopping the free service for a day is a marketing tool to gauge the true demand and to price the service.

Yahoo data is weird...it's like they have an army of people hand-entering the data each night and sometimes they get a little behind. That's the only explanation I can think of for why it isn't always updated at the exact same time each day...and they occasionally have these multi-day hiccups.

I thought exactly the same thing. Thankfully there are alternatives, so they wouldn't achieve much by doing that.
