Yeah, this is going to put a serious hit on the ocean ecosystems.

Even if we geoengineer the temps down via distibuting SO2 in the stratosphere this problem remains. What worries me is beyond the loss of a food source is the fact that most of our oxygen comes from the phytoplankton. If there is a massive die-off, it could bring us with it.
