XP Service Pack 3?

Does anyone know if the bugs have been worked out with service pack 3 for XP on AMD machines? My neighbor has an AMD machine and automatic updates is telling him SP3 is available for download. Thanks for any replies.

You might want to Google on that.

AT one time, there was a problem... it had a simple fix if you had the file and knew what to do.

Could be that more recent AMD CPUs don't have that problem.
 
I have been running XP SP3 on dual core AMD for over 6 months no issues, that is since they got the bugs worked out of SP3.
