X-Trader and firewall

Hi,

I am use XTrader with Velocity Futures. Does anyone know how to use the X-Trader with a firewall. Unfortunately the firewall is not under my control and most non-standard ports have been blocked to stop trojans viruses etc... and I am unable to open or get the admins to open the ports. I have access to all the usual ports tho. I think I have to tunnel but I am not sure how to do it with XTrader. Can the guardian setup be tweaked to do this? Has anyone done this. Info would be gratefully welcome!
