I am re-reading Wyckoff's book.

<The Richard D. Wyckoff Method of Trading and Investing in Stocks>.

I got some information from the link below:

“ Before looking at the details, there are two rules to keep in mind. These rules come directly from the book Charting the Stock Market: The Wyckoff Method by Jack K. Hutson, David H. Weiss and Craig F. Schroeder.”

Is the content in this book really the method used by Wyckoff, or is it fabricated by the authors? I will code some indicators for Wyckoff's method, I don't want to waste my time.

I've seen that chart/graphic above several times but I've never seen it accompanied by a date axis at the bottom. I'd genuinely like to know like to know what timeline they are talking about. If they are referring to how long it takes Institutional investors to build their positions then say so and stop with the vague bullshit.

Okay that's one ETF,what about the other 9,999 stocks on the exchanges? What phase is your beloved GME in? Looks like it's in the post-markdown/apathy phase.LOL. Seems like you bought it in the distribution phase.

Why is everyone so ensconced with my positions lol...ftr I wasn't accumulating I was grabbing insane premium and pnl 16k of the hype. They could go bk and I'm not losing any money as 16k plus the premium I have been collecting is more than my total position.

Here is GME...as you can see Wyckoff its basically a crude form of EW.

If someone is a position trader or long term investor and wants to believe in such things,fine whatever,more power to them. But for anyone who trades shorter timeframes it's useless. In 2024 a better concept to trade by might be the "What have you done for me Lately" concept. Or "You're only as Good as your Last earnings Report" concept.

I don't know about that...I just traded a 4 dte contract for $150 profit in about 30 mins using EW on the 30/5 minute chart. I had 3 profit taking levels and just took all of it on the first level because I'm so broke

Just checked so it didn't hit the 2nd level yet, but I did leave about $90 on the table going by todays high. It will probably reach the 3rd profit level which would have been about a $1200 profit.
