Do me a favor would ya? Do a trial of tradethenews.com, and tell me which one you like more. You don't need a credit card for the tradethenews trial. Often times the pop has already happened by the time you see the news event, and get your platform ready. Often times there is also a drop afterwards, unless you're familiar with the company and understand the full impacts of the news event.

Briefing doesn't break news, it rehashes the news after it hits real news services like Dow Jones, Bloomberg, and Reuters.

In other words, you're getting the news 20-30 seconds after every other trader with a real news service has it.
 
last time i tried briefing paid services(platinum or whatever it's called few years ago) in many cases with upgrades\downgrades they are 30 min-2 hours late than their competitors
