I know.The Japanese were quite brutal and savage against The Chinese while doing it.I know The Chinese wants revenge one day but with The US defending Japan they have they have to think long and hard about the cost of that revenge.If WW3 breaks out and The US is bogged down in other battles I think they might make their move.They wont do it while The US isn't fighting other battles imo.

Probably right, but I can see where they are aiding Russia in Ukraine and may be attempting to draw us in further to weaken us.

I'm not entirely cerain that it would be nuclear, but what I see is more of an unmanned war. Drones, etc.

I wish I could believe that. I just don't see how it wouldn't escalate. All that would need to happen is a non-military target gets hit, and civilian casualties. Then one side would escalate, and the other would follow. Game over.

People can hate Trump all day long, but we needed Space Force.
Now how much things changed with regards to our capabilities up there after he stood up that branch of service... beats me. Hopefully a bunch. Ideally lots of black box money.

You can bet any major confrontation with China or Russia, and the satellites will be one of the first things to go. There's no doubt in my mind that is step one on all 3 of the superpowers' battle plans. In a way one could say it's analogous to the way we had battleships pounding the beaches of Normandy and Iwo Jima before the main assault. There'll be a lot of scap metal up there. More so than there is now.

That's also why depending too much on an arsenal of state of the art, high tech weaponry, and not much else, is an Achilles heal. China knows that, and I would suspect Russia does too. As crazy as it sounds, nukes aside, after the first several days, we could be fighting battles not much different than WW2. I hope our ships and subs still have some old school com and cypher gear on them. If not... that wouldn't be good.

Russian state media has issued a number of alarming reports in the last twenty-four hours suggesting that the proxy conflict between NATO and Russia over Ukraine is becoming increasingly direct.

A Russian armed forces commander operating in the Zaporizhzhya direction told RIA Novosti that a Russian crew destroyed a Leopard tank that was transferred to Ukraine. It was reportedly manned by members of the German Armed Forces.
