WTH flash crash

IB seems to have encountered issues at the same time, couldn't get connected to TWS - the log in window is just appearing now

Entered the the office a few minutes ago and no way to open TWS from any computer, mobiletws and webtrader worked though.

I wouldn't mind a 1% flash crash btw
 
some just got raped and some one made a fortune off it.
fair and orderly market :) what a joke. couple mil shares and IWM drops 1%. where all those 'liquidity providers'? SSDD.

what the heck are you talking about? You could have sold or bought every single tick all the way down and all the way up. Whether we talk s&p futures, currencies, any other futures contracts for that matter. Liquidity was there on both sides. Stop wining. You are just pissed off because you missed the move or did not have the balls to join. Move on but stop blaming the wrong people here.
