WTF!!! McCain Wants U.S. Government to Buy U.S. Homes And Renegotiate Mortgages!!!

Quote from Wallet:

If that's true, then every person who couldn't qualify or afford a home loan and was given one by Fanny and Freddie should vote for McCain, he will make sure they stay in their homes.

The democratic welfare recipients should be jumping up and down, we get to keep our homes.

So, are you agreeing with Mercor that McCain did not propose what I claimed?

Quote from BlindLemonBoosh:

I don't recall him saying that. I DO recall McCain's statement.

Obama did not say that. I am saying that the constituents the Democrats look after include the welfare class. In keeping with that principle there is no question a President Obama would forgive low income mortgages.
I don't believe much of what they say in this forum, you need to look at the parties and what their policies are because NOTHING ever changes.

Why don't you answer the question I asked?

I'm still in complete and utter shock. Does anyone have the exact quote?

I'm 99% sure it included the following:

"...order the Treasury Secretary to purchase all underwater mortgages."

Quote from ByLoSellHi:

I am vocal, but I'll never back down from what I say, and I'll always admit when I'm wrong.

Quote from ByLoSellHi:

This is what I'm talking about.

I could have gone and linked a million videos of Palin speaking, but didn't even think of it, as I've already heard the insane thing that have come out her mouth while attending a church that 'speaks in tongues.'

I'd expect that even some of you here that are social conservatives would acknowledge that Palin is a sandwich short of a picnic.

I really though economic conservatives would think so.

Palin is waaaaay more extreme in her religious beliefs than Mike Huckabee. And she is so far to the right of McCain that she makes him seem liberal.

No abortions even in cases of rape or incest. That's the tip of the iceberg.

This woman is extreme in every respect.

I honestly do not believe the average voter realizes this fact, yet.

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

I think you're full of shit.

For months you acted like Joe Libertarian with your alleged "support" of Ron Paul. Now all of a sudden you're disgusted at the "insane" views of Sarah Palin when her stances are identical to Ron Paul's!

Ron Paul's Expressions of Faith:
In a summary about his faith, Ron Paul writes, "I have never been one who is comfortable talking about my faith in the political arena. In fact, the pandering that typically occurs in the election season I find to be distasteful. But for those who have asked, I freely confess that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and that I seek His guidance in all that I do. I know, as you do, that our freedoms come not from man, but from God. My record of public service reflects my reverence for the Natural Rights with which we have been endowed by a loving Creator."

Speaking about the First Amendment, Ron Paul says, " Similarly, the mythical separation of church and state doctrine has no historical or constitutional basis. Neither the language of the Constitution itself nor the legislative history reveals any mention of such separation. In fact, the authors of the First amendment ... routinely referred to "Almighty God" in their writings, including the Declaration of Independence. It is only in the last 50 years that federal courts have perverted the meaning of the amendment and sought to unlawfully restrict religious expression."

So which is it.

a. You're duplicitous.

b. You just weren't informed about Dr. Paul and your "support" was mis-guided or

c. Palin is in fact your type of candidate.

Wouldn't that be an honorable thing to do, taking your tax dollars (if you pay taxes) and giving it to someone who cant make their house payments.

The question isn't whether it's honorable or not for purposes of this thread; the question is whether McCain, as a fiscal conservative and pitbull against pork, proposed it.

RIP GOP.

McCain of course said that. he wants to use the bailout money to take underwater mortgages off the banks books. Hold them untill they are paid off then send the deed to the homeowner.

But if Obama wins you know they will just mail out deeds paid in full by the goverment. This will become a huge welfare program

Whatever.

Good luck to your fiscally conservative horse in this race, my friend.

McCain is a disaster, and it became truth tonight even among hard core Republicans.

Hannity will still spin his bullshit, but not Brooks, Will or the credible amongst the right.

You have Palin supporting same-sex couple property rights, health insurance rights, and everything else, and now you have McCain voting Aye on the bailout bill and proposing this insane plan on homes.
