Singapore has the highest density of millionaires in the world, one in every six household is a millionaire, unlike in U.S one out of six is on food stamp.I suggest we fix america the same way...
lets tweak our tax code a bit..
we cease all immigration for the next 5 years except we all people with phds or 2 million in cash to move to detroit and start businesses.
Then we target another city for 2 to 5 years... and we go one city at a time.
And we say anyone in those zip codes does not have to pay capital gains made on profits earned in those cities.
we might be able to end foodstamps and the democratic party within a generation.

There is already something like that - the E5 immigrant investor visa. It is not well known that there is a path to permanent residence and citizenship if you pay enough money to the U.S. ($1 million or $500,000 in targeted zones and have 10 full-time employees within 2 years). Some cash strapped cities in southern California have cookie cutter deals in place where the investor just needs to cut a check without doing any legwork.
Personally, I don't see the attraction to immigrating here unless you are poor or fleeing your home country with ill-gotten loot that you don't want taken away (more common than you might think). My view is that the smart ones are looking for the exits before this country has to pay the piper. The politicians no doubt see this as well and you may have noticed incrementally more onerous laws have been enacted to keep the slaves on the plantation. Or at least have them pay a steep toll as they leave.
Yes many prefer to invest/work in China or other SEA Countries and many have special sentimental feeling for China where their great grandfather/mother were from

Nope! I think you got it wrong, there's no invasion .. all the business people and the government all welcome China to invest. Singapore and China has very close ties special relationship. All the Chinese in Singapore their great grandfather were Mainland Chinese came to Singapore with nothing but built Singapore with their bloods and tears.
