Its terribly high for prime brokerage which includes access to analysts, software, and a number of other things.

I probably could on a very liquid NSD stock, but if I'm trading a large position in anything on the NYSE, or something that averages under 5% of what I want then I want someone working my order for me.

I believe this is a scam. This is what my professor in economics told me. Anything guaranteed above risk free rate is a scam.
