Writing options for a living

The chances that you make money selling those calls is higher than buying, but the expected return can be expected to be same.

Chances that you make money selling premuim is greater, but the times that you lose you will lose more on average than the times you win (unlimited downside to premuim selling calls).

Lets add 1 condition...

In either position,if the option doubles you liquidate...

I think writing naked option requires a very strong back-testing skill and a LLC to prevent any shit happens.

But is there any broker allows people to open a LLC to trade naked option with just only 10k deposit?

Just a quick piece of advice. If you want to pick someone to troll regarding options, it may be better to pick someone that can't hand you your head on a platter re: options theory even if you ran into him in a hospital emergency room after he suffered a 3rd degree concussion while piss drunk on tequila.

Disclaimer: I do not know atticus and have never had any sort of exchange with him, here or anywhere else.

Just a bit of friendly advice.

The market is not right all the time. If the options were priced perfectly all the time, then no one would buy or sell them really.

Huh? This has little basis in reality. People buy/sell stocks, indices made up of stocks, futures on the stock indices and options on the futures on the stock indices. Their buying/selling is not really based on whether things are priced perfectly or not. Usually they are quite wrong on the pricing, as so many leveraged traders fare poorly over time.

Yes, expectations drive much of the market. But cheap options is still mostly a myth to average Joe Trader. It sells books, but has little relevance to someone with a $3,000 account.

thanks you
